Wednesday, June 6

Brian Keith Andrew of LaCrosse, Wis., reported his blue, gray 28 horsepower Johnson boat motor and boat trailer tires missing from 840 Main Street in Dakota, Minn. He stated the motor was taken off his 14 ft. vintage Larson boat. The motor was valued between $400-500.

Wednesday, June 6

At 4:04 p.m. a pedestrian was struck by a vehicle at the corner of Fifth Street and Main Street. Kevin Allen Spalding, 44, of Winona, was facing east on Fifth Street when he pulled away from the curb. The police report said Doris June Drazkowski, 84, of Winona was not using a crosswalk when she walked in front of Spalding’s vehicle and was struck. Drazkowski was transported to Winona Health by ambulance complaining of injuries. No tickets were issued.

At 6:39 p.m. police arrested Ashley Marie Vonrohr, 29, of Rochester, on charges of fifth degree possession of a concealed substance and no insurance. Vonrohr’s vehicle was impounded where police found a prescription bottle with her name on it for clonazepam. Other pills in the bottle were hydrocodone and alprazolam. Vonrohr has been referred to the county attorney.

Thursday, June 7

At 8:59 p.m. police ticketed Emaly Ann Sauers, 23, of Lewiston, with shoplifting at JCPenny’s on 1808 Service Drive. Sauers was charged for not paying for services provided at the store salon.

Friday, June 8

At 1:51 a.m. police arrested Chad Lewis Wilson, 28, of Winona, with domestic assault causing fear and harm and enhanced gross misdemeanor after responding to a call in the 1600 block of West Ninth Street. The police report said Wilson allegedly punched a female in the face. The victim was taken to the hospital where she was treated for a cut on her face.

Kevin Ladal Mitchell, 26, of Rochester, has been charged with four counts of fourth degree intent to sell and one count of fifth degree possession of a controlled substance dating back to Dec. 2011. Police initiated four controlled buys with Mitchell in 2011. Mitchell provided the police buyer with methylenedioxyprovalerone (MDPV). The hearing date for this case is July 5, 2012, at 11 a.m.
