Is that parade music you hear? Yes it is! The WMS Marching Band is ramping up for another parade season. Drivers are asked to be mindful of our band as they rehearse on Bundy Blvd. and Storr’s Pond Road.
Rehearsals are at WMS on June 11 - 15 from 9:00 - 10:30am and from 1:00-2:30 pm August 13-17.
The Winona Middle School Marching Band is made up of 140 seventh and eighth grade student musicians under the direction of Melody Snyder and Paula Braaten. The WMS flag line is coached by Brenda Svendsen.
This year’s song is “Party Rock Anthem” arranged by Paul Murtha. The WMS Marching Band will be performing in the June 16 Covered Bridge Festival in Zumbrota, the Winona Steamboat Days Parade on June 17, and the August 19 Goodview Days Parade.
