Winona State University will sponsor the Watershed Citizen Summit, hosted by the Whitewater River Watershed Project, at 5 p.m. Tuesday, June 26, in the Tau Center, West Campus.
The summit aims to identify actions needed to protect and restore water quality in the Mississippi River-Winona Watershed.
This event is free and open to the public. Dinner will be served.
Pre-registration is required, and seating is limited. Pre-register by calling 507-457-6210 or by email at firstname.lastname@example.org. Name, number of people attending and a contact number are required. Priority will be given to those representing the agricultural community.
Funding for the Citizen Summit is provided through the Clean Water Land and Legacy Amendment.
