Board-certified radiologist, William Krueger, DO, and radiologist Justin Albanese, MD, joined the medical staff at Winona Health. Dr. Krueger’s first day will be June 29 and Dr. Albanese will start on July 9.
“Our Imaging Services staff and physicians have consistently received high marks in patient satisfaction,” said Rebecca Lamberty, administrative leader of Emergency/Urgent Care and Imaging Services. “Dr. Krueger and Dr. Albanese will provide outstanding care and an exceptional experience for our patients. We are looking forward to the addition of Dr. Krueger and Dr. Albanese to our team.”
Dr. Krueger received his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree at the College of Osteopathic Medicine, Kirksville, Missouri, completed his residency at Walter Reed Army Medical Center in Washington, DC, and completed his fellowship in Abdominal/Cross Sectional Imaging at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minn.
He is a member of the American College of Radiology, Radiological Society of North America and the American Osteopathic Association. In addition, he has received several military awards and an Outstanding Achievement in the Study of Osteopathic Medicine Award. He also was previously a track coach, a wrestling coach and Spanish teacher, and his volunteer service includes the Boy Scouts of America.
Dr. Albanese received his Medical Degree at the University of Illinois in Chicago
and completed his residency in Diagnostic Radiology at the University of Colorado Hospital in Denver.
He is a member of the American College of Radiology, the American Roentgen Ray Society, which is the first and oldest radiology society in the United States, the Radiological Society of North America, the Society of Interventional Radiology, the Association of University Radiologists and the American Alliance of Academic Chief Residents in Radiology (A3CR2).
Dr. Albanese received the Most Outstanding Resident Teaching Award at the University of Colorado Department of Radiology and was chief radiology resident. His interests include foreign languages, linguistics and piano.
