I sneak one donut, and lose my column spot! But I do want to thank the Steamboat Days organizers for a great event. I had my annual Ambassadors brat. But the little holders they put the large dog into are totally too small. It was like trying to put a thong bikini on Oprah. Not enough coverage. As an accompaniment, I had a delicious Dairy Assn. milkshake. Yum.
The kids loved the carnival and being in the parade. We felt honored to be the Grand Marshals. Thanks to brother-in-law Nick Edstrom for the sweet ride!
It was all wonderful, and I’m already looking forward to next year. Many, many, thanks to all the volunteers for a great time.
