The Wabasha County Historical Society is celebrating the annual Wabasha County Homecoming at the Museum in Reads Landing, Minnesota, on Sunday, July 8 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.
This year’s event will feature music by Glen Irvin--a great local musical talent. What a treat that will be for all of us. The Homecoming event also includes root beer floats, and the Museum will be open throughout the celebration. You will learn about the origins of the Reads Landing Homecoming. Join us for an interesting afternoon of tours of the schoolhouse, vintage farm equipment, and exhibits about Wabasha County history dating back centuries.
There is a $5 entrance fee for the general public. Museum members are admitted for free. The Wabasha County Historical Society is open during the summer on Saturday and Sunday afternoons from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m.
Watch for details about upcoming events at the Museum:
*August 12--Antique Roadshow “Wabasha County Style” with Juleen Close and other appraisers
*September 16--Disappearing Country Schools of Wabasha County
*October 14--Annual Membership Meeting
