Shirley Ann Jereczek, age 70, of Winona, passed away peacefully at St. Anne Extended Healthcare on Wednesday, June 27, 2012.
Shirley was born in Winona, on September 29, 1941, to Theodore and Florence (Theis) Jereczek.
She is survived by her sisters: Jean E. Miller, Twin Falls, Ida., Lorraine M. Walske, Trempealeau, Wis., brother: Michael J. (Jan) Jereczek, St. Paul, Minn., one niece and three nephews.
Shirley was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers-in-law: James W. Miller and James F. Walske; and a sister-in-law, Joanne Marie Jereczek.
Shirley passed from this earth with dignity due to the wonderful care and compassion of the Winona Area Hospice Services Staff and the St. Anne Extended Healthcare Staff.
Private family services will be held at the Watkowski-Mulyck Funeral Home on Monday, July 2, 2012, with Monsignor Roy E. Literski officiating. Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery.
Memorials may be directed to St. Anne Extended Healthcare or to Winona Area Hospice Services.
Don’t grieve for me, for now I’m free.
I’m following the path God laid for me.
I took His hand when I heard His call.
I turned my back and left it all.
