The six young spellers, the principal, head of the bee, the comfort counselor, the volunteers and the ensemble chorus make for a joy-filled show. Rebecca Feldman conceived the show and the music and lyrics are by William Finn. The show opened on Broadway in 2005 and garnered nine Tonys including best book and music.
