Helping Harvest Victory Garden open soon (07/08/2012)

The Helping Harvest Victory Garden crew is anxious to open the vegetable stand for the fourth season. Keep your eyes peeled for the little table and umbrella by Cornerstone Church at Vila and Hwy 61. As always, we do all the harvesting, and produce is available to anyone in the Winona area who can benefit from healthy eating. Any donations received go directly to the Winona Food Shelf.
This year the stand will be open on Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday at 5 PM. We have hopes of being bigger and better than ever with a great new fence protecting our plants. Gardeners from the area are also encouraged to bring fresh excess pickings for free distribution any day the stand is open.
