Guns and Hoses dance team returns to “Dancing with the Stars” to raise funds for Red Cross. Your vote (donation) will help out the cause!
Team up with local heroes and make a difference! The speed of technology has taken off over the recent years and it may be hard to remember back to the days of Atari, Nintendo, and even DVDs to watch movies!! But now is the time to pull out all those video games and DVDs, old and new, and get rid of them while supporting a great cause!
Guns and Hoses, a local group of police and firemen, are once again taking the stage as part of Dancing With the Winona Stars 2012 and they have chosen the American Red Cross as their charity of choice. They are the reigning DWWS team champions!!!
Red Cross, Guns and Hoses, and Jimmy Jams are teaming up to raise funds and votes that will help our local American Red Cross chapter obtain a new disaster response vehicle We need your help!
Starting Monday, July 2nd and lasting through August 7th you can drop off your unwanted DVDs and video games at Midtown Foods, Red Cross, and Jimmy Jams. They are collecting all DVDs and video games (examples – Atari, Nintendo, PlayStation, XBox, Wii, etc) in their original cases. No computer games please.
This is a fantastic way to clean up, clean out, and support a fantastic group of emergency responders and the local American Red Cross!
If you have large quantities you would like picked up, questions about dropping off, or would like to request a box or poster, please contact Marie Barrientos at 507-452-4258 or e-mail email@example.com.
The Red Cross depends on financial donations to help in times of disaster. Those who want to help people affected by disasters like tornadoes, floods and wildfires, as well as countless crises at home and around the world, can make a donation to support American Red Cross Disaster Relief. This gift enables the Red Cross to prepare for and provide shelter, food, emotional support and other assistance in response to disasters. Contributions may also be sent to local American Red Cross – Winona County at 1660 Kraemer Drive, Winona, MN 55987.
