Friday, July 20

9 p.m.: Universe in the Park

Billions and billions of stars...join UW-Madison Astronomy folks for an amazing view of the night sky! Our program will begin at the Nature Center with a short presentation and then proceed to the prairie for a telescopic view of celestial wonders! Bug spray is highly recommended.

4 p.m.: Invasives in Our Midst

Find out about invasive plants and animals threatening our lands and waters. Andrea will have a variety of information to help you understand the threat posed by invasive species. Take home material will be available. Short videos will be available for on-demand watching.

7 p.m.: Mighty Moundbuilders

Imagine a time when everything you needed came directly from the world around you. Beginning with a short video about prehistoric people, we will explore the world of the ancient Mound Builders. A short walk to nearby mounds will complete the program.
