Stanley Joswick, 84, a nine-year resident of Ocala, Florida, died June 14, 2012, at his home.
He was born June 16, 1927, in Winona, to Stanislaus and Anna (Czapiewski) Joswick. He worked at Peerless Chain for over 25 years. Stanley served as a military cook in the Army from October 1945 to February 1947. He received an Honorable Discharge, decorations, and citations for his time served. He was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks (Winona), and the Winona Athletic Club.
He is survived by his sister, Grace Orlowske, Winona, and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers: Lambert, Romuald, Mark, Robert and Hilary, and sisters: Esther, Eleanor, Margaret, and Catherine.
He will be buried at the National Cemetery in Bushnell, Florida.
