Mary Singer is having a one-woman fine art show at the Red Horse Gallery 116 Main St., Fountain City. The opening is July 28th from 6 - 8 PM . The show will be up throughout August.
Water, Land and Sky is the name of the show. Mostly new works that focus on the beauty of nature that surrounds us. This painting is “The Sentinel.“ It is the view from the bluff above Highway 61 just North of Minnesota city looking South towards Winona. Mary Singer has a painting, “Singer Valley” that is included in a International show as well as a portrait, “Sitting Bull “ that is included in the traveling art show that is going to all the libraries in Southeastern Minnesota through 2013. Singer is a portrait artist who portrays many subjects and has received a grant to portray five women of significance to the Winona area. They will be presented to the public in Feb. of 2013 and will be donated to the Winona County History Center.
