Houston Nature Center groundbreaking event Aug. 1 (07/25/2012)

The Houston Nature Center is inviting KIDS to bring their toy trucks, excavators, sand shovels, and buckets to do the initial groundbreaking and construction for the new Natural Playground that will be created in Trailhead Park in Houston. We’ll have the sod peeled off and the soil loosed for them so they can start excavating the sand play area and dump the soil to build a 10 foot hill.
The ground breaking ceremony will be on Wednesday, August 1 at 10:00 a.m. in Trailhead Park in Houston. We’ll have a short presentation, let the kids do their work for a while, and have refreshments.
