At 8:14 p.m. deputies ticketed Tyler Eugene Kingsley, 24, of Lanesboro, for careless driving and driving without insurance. Deputies responded to an accident at County Road 23 and Highway 61 near Minnesota City. Kingsley was traveling between 70 and 80 miles per hour when he missed a curb and drove into a cornfield. Kingsley then ran from the scene and a Goodview police cruiser caught him. Kingsley was transported to Winona Health via ambulance with non-life-threatening injuries.
Sunday, July 22
At 11:49 a.m. an Altura resident reported missing two tires with rims. The vehicle was parked in his driveway at 123 North Main Street. The man said three days prior to missing the tires a 1990 red Chevrolet pickup stopped in front of the house and took pictures of the now missing tires. The man said the car was jacked up and placed on a wooden block. Estimated cost of the stolen property is $700.
At 5:15 p.m. police ticketed Benjamin David Kammueller, 25, of Trempealeau, Wis., for trespassing at the Integrated Wellness Complex on the Winona State University campus.
Friday, July 20
At 9:24 a.m. an employee at Wenden Recovery Services at 131 Harriet Street reported a door had been kicked in overnight. The employee reported missing about $10 in loose change and a book of checks.
At 7:38 p.m. a resident in the 500 block of Deborah Street reported a porch screen was ripped and pushed in.
At 9:08 p.m. police ticketed Kristi Marie Schmit, 20, of Winona, for underage consumption of alcohol. Police responded to her residence in the 50 block of West Mark Street after a male called police stating he was worried about her welfare. Schmit had a blood alcohol content of .258.
Saturday, July 21
At 2:12 a.m. police ticketed David Logan Parmentier, 19, of Pleasant Prairie, Wis., and Cole Randall Solomon, 19, of Spring Green, Wis., for underage consumption of alcohol after the vehicle they were in was pulled over at Hardees.
At 12:55 p.m. police arrested Lucas Christopher Reinardy, 21, of Winona, for fifth degree assault causing fear and harm and felony strangulation. A 21-year-old female reported an argument the previous night turned violent and Reinardy pushed her to the floor, slapped her arm, slapped her face twice and choked her. Saturday morning, the female said another argument occurred and he slapped her again. Police found bruises on her face and arms. Reinardy was arrested at his residence on Franklin Street.
Sunday, July 22
At 2:24 a.m. police ticketed a 16-year-old male for violating curfew, theft, providing a false name and tampering with a motor vehicle after he was stopped at the corner of Huff and Lake streets for prowling nearby cars. The juvenile is being referred to the county attorney’s office.
At 7:42 p.m. police ticketed Susan Q. Djavedan, 55, of Winona, for shoplifting after she allegedly took $39.47 worth of over the counter medications.
Monday, July 23
At 12:55 p.m. a Winona resident in the 700 block of West Tenth Street reported missing mail from a mailbox. The mail contained several envelopes with approximately $100 total.
At 3:17 p.m. police ticketed Emily Sue Crouse, 24, of Winona, for shoplifting at Walmart after she allegedly took three bottles of perfume and tried to exchange them for a refund without a receipt. A store employee said he witnessed Crouse, on a surveillance camera, proceed to the perfume aisle, take three bottles and walk up to the service desk for a refund. The bottles were valued at $111.88.
At 3:22 p.m. a 41-year-old female reported missing a bottle of Percocet from her dresser. She reported missing 35 10mg pills.
At 5:05 p.m. police ticketed Matthew Robert Kaiser, 32, of Dakota, Minn., for shoplifting at Shopko after he allegedly took a digital audio electronic device valued at $14.89.
At 7:40 p.m. police arrested Bradley James Griffin, 19, of Winona, for fifth degree domestic assault causing fear and harm after he slapped a 19-year-old female while at a residence in the 350 block of Wilson Street.
At 9:50 p.m. police arrested Jordan Lee Wagner, 22, of Winona, for fourth degree driving while intoxicated after he collided with Lisa Ann Koetz, 46, of Winona. Koetz had turned left onto Highway 61 when Wagner approached from the rear and struck her vehicle. Koetz was not injured. Wagner had a blood alcohol content of .16 percent.
At 10:19 p.m. police arrested Martie Ann Thornton, 42, of Winona, for violating a harassment order and obstruction of the legal process. Police were called to a residence in the 400 block of South Baker Street and the complainant said she was not allowed to be at the residence.

A complaint has been filed against Michael Thomas Deflorian, 44, of La Crosse, for writing a bad check. On October 3, 2011, Deflorian wrote a check from a business account to Rollingstone Lumber for $3,113.76. A month later, the check was returned for insufficient funds. Several attempts were made to collect the owed funds and no funds were secured. Deflorian is to appear in court on September 6, 2012, at 8:30 a.m.
