The Winona Symphony Orchestra and Chamber Music Winona announce a unique collaboration for the 2012-2013 season as they partner to present a combined four-concert season. Both the Winona Symphony Orchestra and Chamber Music Winona will maintain their separate identities but market the performances cooperatively.
Each group will present one fall and one spring concert, as follows:
1) Sunday, Sept. 9, 2012, 2 p.m., Chamber Music Winona, WSU Performing Arts Center Recital Hall Music for Trumpet and Chamber Orchestra, Donald Lovejoy, trumpet
2) Sunday, October 14, 2012, 4:30 p.m.. Winona Symphony Orchestra, Wesley United Methodist Church, Mozart, Symphony No. 40
3) Sunday, April 7, 2013, 2 p.m., Chamber Music Winona, WSU Performing Arts Center Recital Hall, Music for String Quintet, Wind Quintet and Piano
4) Sunday, May 5, 2013, 4:30 p.m., Winona Symphony Orchestra, WSU Performing Arts Center, Main Stage, Beethoven, Symphony No. 7
Tickets may be purchased individually or as a four-concert season package. Prices are: Individual
Winona Symphony Orchestra- $15 / $5 for students w/ID, Chamber Music Winona - $10 / $5 for students w/ID
Four-concert package
$40 / $20 for students w/ID
On-line ticket sales through the Winona State University Box Office will begin around mid-August.
