We have been fortunate to have free summer concerts in Winona for the past several years. The Concerts on the Green, previously called Prelude Concerts, precede the Great River Shakespeare Festival performances every Friday and Saturday nights during their season. This year for the final concert, Saturday, August 4th, there will be a new format. Rather than one group we will be entertained by a variety of local performers, thus called ‘Winona Sampler’. This concert includes an acoustic duo, Italian accordion, an original songwriter, an a capella boys vocal group, and Irish step dancing. Please join us for this final and special concert on Saturday, August 4th, 6:30 pm – 7:45 in front of the Performing Arts Center on the Winona State University Campus.
