Stacy R. (Bublitz) Fredrickson, age 53, of Winona, Minn., died on Tuesday, August 7, 2012, at her home following an eight-year battle with cancer.
Stacy was born on November 10, 1958, in Winona, Minn., to Milton and Shirley (Boehmke) Bublitz. She was married to Mark Fredrickson and was a member of St. Martin’s Evangelical Lutheran Church.
Despite her illness, Stacy was a strong lady, who lived life to its fullest. She was a terrific seamstress and also loved bowling, gardening, fishing, golfing and all animals, especially horses.
Stacy is survived by her husband, Mark Fredrickson, Winona, Minn., daughter, Stephanie Pflughoeft, Winona, Minn., mother, Shirley Bublitz, Winona, Minn., brothers and sisters, Michael (Selma) Bublitz, Winona, Minn., Mitchell (JanDeen) Bublitz, Houston, Minn., Susan Brett, Winona, Minn., and Shannon (Dana) Hanson, St. Charles, Ill., stepchildren, Kylee and Brett Fredrickson, Winona, Minn., her beloved dog, Max; nieces and nephews; as well as other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her father; nephews, Michael Paul Bublitz and John Robert Bublitz; and brother-in-law, Jim Brett.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, August 11, 2012, at St. Martin’s Evangelical Lutheran Church. The Reverend Richard A. Moore will officiate.
Visitation will be held at St. Martin’s Evangelical Lutheran Church on Saturday, August 11, 2012, from 10 a.m. until 10:45 a.m.
