Mueller, Allen H. (08/10/2012)
Allen H. Mueller, age 87, of Wilson, Minnesota, died Monday, August 6, 2012, at Gundersen Lutheran Medical Center in La Crosse, Wisconsin.

Allen Hugo was born October 1, 1924, to Edward and Hedwig (Hornberg) Mueller in Wilson Township, Winona County, Minnesota. Growing up he attended school through the eighth grade and at a young age began his career as a farmer.

On May 19, 1956, he was united in marriage to Lela Elsie Doebbert at Trinity Lutheran Church in Wilson. This union was blessed with five children: Kenneth, Patricia, Doris, Mary and Roger.

Allen farmed in Wilson Township near Winona all of his life, operating a dairy and hog farm; and was an active member of the creamery board. He was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church. He enjoyed tractor pulling, horse pulls, playing cards and going fishing.

Those left to cherish his memory include his children: Patricia (Brian) Mueller of West Salem, Wisconsin; Doris (Gary) Kotlarz of Dakota, Minnesota; Mary (Bruce) Mueller of Minnesota City, Minnesota; and Roger (Pam) Mueller of Stewartville, Minnesota; seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; sisters: Florence Strelow of Winona, Minnesota; and Gladys (Bill) Becker of Winona, Minnesota; other extended family and many friends.

He was preceded in death by his wife; son, Kenneth Mueller; stepson, Michael Doebbert; parents; and three brothers. According to Allenís wishes, a private family service was held.
