Is this normal? Recognizing the signs
of cognitive decline
Winona Health is presenting: Is this normal? Recognizing the signs of cognitive decline, a free Community Health Talk on Thursday, September 20 from 6 to 7 p.m. at Winona Health, 855 Mankato Ave.
This program is for those who may have a concern about a family member’s memory issues or ability to function safely. Attendees will learn how to identify what’s normal and what may be a sign of cognitive decline and tips for how family members can offer suggestions or support.
Program presenters will be Carol Meyer-Boldon, CCC, SLP, a speech-language pathologist at Winona Health who works with individuals who have difficulties in the areas of speech, language, swallowing and cognitive dysfunction, and Judy Jorgensen, OTR/L, who is an expert in assessing and treating cognitive disorders.
There is no charge for this Community Health Talk, but space is limited so RSVP is required by Monday, September 17. Light refreshments will be provided. RSVP to 507.457.4161.
