Marlys A. Ziegler, age 80, of Fountain City, Wis., died Friday, August 17, 2012, at Sauer Health Care, Winona.
Marlys Ann was born December 26, 1931, in Winona, to Robert and Zrada (Fleming) Hill. She was a homemaker. On May 16, 1951, she married George Ziegler at McKinley Methodist Church, Winona, and he preceded her in death October 15, 2002.
She is survived by a son, Roger (Jackie) Ziegler, Naperville, Ill; a daughter, Nancy (Alan) Jenks, Trempealeau, Wis., one grandson, Eric Ziegler; one brother, Gale Hill, Wabasha, Minn., a sister, Janet Seabern, Winona; sister-in-law, Margaret Hill, Oglivie, Minn., and other relatives.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son, John, and a brother, Kenneth Hill.
Services to remember Marlys were August 20, 2012, at St. John’s U.C.C., Fountain City, Wis., with Rev. Greg Ferriss officiating. Interment was at Fountain City Public Cemetery, Fountain City, Wis.
