Rollingstone Activity Group
The Rollingstone Activity Group thanks each and every one of you for making it a great weekend. Thank you to all the volunteers, suppliers, vendors and participants. Special thanks to the Rollingstone businesses and organizations. Rollingstone Days would not happen without their generosity and support.
Friday night was a success, with karaoke and the fireworks display. We also kicked off our softball tournament and kids activities. The park was full of people, and it was a great way to start the weekend.
Saturday started with the cancer run/walk. The money raised goes to Rollingstone citizens battling cancer. It was a little rainy at first, but the afternoon cleared up and made for a great weekend! Activities at the park included kids’ games and inflatables, and vendors brought a wonderful selection of crafts. Saturday night ended with our annual dance, with music provided by Pastel Black.
The car show on Sunday had a great selection of various vehicles of interest. Thank you to all the parade participants. It is always fun to see everyone with their creative floats and to bring the community together for this event. The softball tournament was a great success, with The Cove from Buffalo City taking first place. Thank you to the Rollingstone Fire Department and the surrounding fire departments that came for water fights. The kids also had a great time shooting water at their own barrel.
We hope everyone enjoyed the festivities and the ice cream provided by the Rollingstone Activity Group. Last, but certainly not least, thank you to the activity group members. You do a wonderful job, and your hard work is greatly appreciated.
