Saturday, August 25

At 10:30 a.m. deputies arrested Micah Rybka Salvetti, 34, of Utica, for fifth degree domestic assault causing fear after he was involved in an altercation at his Utica residence with a female. The woman said Salvetti made several comments to her and she said she was fearful for her life.

Sunday, August 26

At 2:58 p.m. deputies arrested Ricky John Schultz, 50, of Lewiston, for fifth degree possession of a controlled substance after his parole officer conducted a check of his home. The officer found a glass pipe containing methamphetamine residue in a bedroom dresser drawer. The officer also found a water bong and tin foil in the residence. Schultz is being referred to the county attorney’s office.

Thursday, August 23

At 11:52 p.m. police arrested Wayne Benjamin Jessen, 65, of Winona, for fourth degree driving while intoxicated after an officer saw Jessen’s vehicle weaving near Fifth and Junction streets. Jessen had a blood alcohol content of .12 percent.

Friday, August 24

At 12:44 a.m. police arrested Samuel Anthony Collar, 23, of Neenah, Wis., for fourth degree driving while intoxicated. He was pulled over near Third and Center streets for driving without tail lights. Collar had a blood alcohol content of .12 percent.

Saturday, August 25

At 12:17 a.m. police ticketed Thomas Jeffrey Lawler-Lueck 19, for minor consumption of alcohol after the officer saw Lawler-Lueck walking near Tenth and Harriet streets with a beer in his hand.

At 1:31 a.m. police arrested Cassie Jane Will, 22, of Winona, for fourth degree driving while intoxicated and driving after license revocation. An officer on patrol saw Will take a sharp turn and strike the curb near Eighth and Kansas streets. Will’s vehicle also had no driver’s side mirror and the windshield was cracked.

At 2:22 a.m. police arrested Marissa Ann Przybylski, 19, of Winona, for fourth degree driving while intoxicated after she was pulled over for a broken tail light. The officer detected the odor of alcohol and Przybylski had a blood content of .17 percent.

Sunday, August 26

At 7:20 p.m. police arrested Yee Vang, 23, of Minneapolis, for obstructing the legal process. Vang was observed riding his bicycle and peering into vehicles near Clarks Lane. When Vang saw the squad car, he fled. The officer pursued Vang and made contact with him near Gilmore Avenue. The officer determined Vang had an arrest warrant and took him into custody.

At 2:15 a.m police ticketed Kenneth Robert Newman, 18, of Hudson, Wis., and Cole Alden Miller, 18, of Hudson, Wis., for minor consumption of alcohol and fleeing on foot after the officer saw them making figure eights in the middle of a street on their bicycles. When the officer approached, Newman and Miller rode their bikes away and ran. The officer then made contact with the males near Second and Chestnut streets and detected the odor of alcohol.

At 3:09 a.m. police ticketed Cassidy Ann Cripe, 18, of Winona, for minor consumption of alcohol after she was found lying in the grass near Lourdes Hall.

Tuesday, August 28

At 12:04 a.m. police arrested Bret Ryan Nordstrom, 29, of Winona, for domestic assault causing fear and harm, and making terroristic threats against a female complainant. The female said Nordstrom pushed her against a wall and made derogatory comments toward her. She also said Nordstrom had a knife and slammed it tip first into a table. Nordstrom is being referred to the county attorney’s office.
