The ABCDs of Medicare class offered at Friendship Center (08/29/2012)

If you are turning 65 or going on Medicare, here is an opportunity for you to get the information you need. This 2-session class at Winona Senior Friendship Center is September 5 and 7, from 1:00-3:30 pm. It will cover the parts of Medicare- hospital, medical and drug options; including original/ traditional Medicare, Medicare supplements, Medicare advantage plans, Part D prescription drug coverage and preventive benefits. Also included is information about Medicare savings programs, drug assistance, preventing fraud, waste and abuse, and other resources to help you make informed decisions. Instructor, Chad Wojchik, is a certified State Health Insurance Program Counselor and specialist with the Senior LinkAge Line®. Register by calling 800-333-2433, extension 84010.
