Angeline M. Langowski, age 91, of Winona, Minn., died on Thursday, September 6, 2012, at Mayo Health System – Arcadia Nursing Home, Arcadia, Wis.
She was born on November 12, 1920, in Winona, to Nicholas F. and Anna C. (Pruka) Langowski.
Angeline lived in Rockford, Ill., for many years, where she worked as a nanny and as a restaurant cook. After retiring, she returned to Winona, where she worked as a home health aide. In her spare time, Angeline enjoyed crocheting and knitting.
She was a member of St. John Nepomucene Catholic Church.
Angeline is survived by her sister, Marcella Peplinski, Winona; brother: Robert (Elaine) Langowski, Galesville, Wis.; nieces and nephews; as well as other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and her brothers; Edward and Chester Langowski.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, September 10, 2012, at the Watkowski-Mulyck Funeral Home. The Very Reverend Thomas J. Hargesheimer will officiate.
Angeline will be laid to rest in St. Mary’s Cemetery.
Visitation will be held at the Watkowski-Mulyck Funeral Home, on Monday, September 10, 2012, from 10 a.m. until time of the service.
Memorials may be directed to a charity of the donor’s choice.
