Healthcare providers recommend that all infants over six months, children and adults, including women who are pregnant, get a flu vaccine. Getting vaccinated not only helps protect you from the flu, it helps protect those you come in contact with.
In addition to flu vaccine being available at regularly scheduled clinic appointments, Winona Health is offering Flu Shot Clinics at the following times for adults and children.
Winona Clinic - 1st floor
859 Mankato Avenue
Saturday, October 13, 8:30 – 11 a.m.
Thursday, October 25, 6 – 8 p.m.
Tuesday, October 30, 6 – 8 p.m.
Saturday, November 3, 8:30 – 11 a.m.
During Flu Shot Clinics, vaccines will be administered as shots (no Flu Mist during Flu Shot Clinics). Staff will bill to insurance and/or Medicare for your convenience. Participants also have the option of a cash payment of $32.
No appointment is necessary during the Flu Shot Clinics. Those under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.
Children age 8 and under who did not receive a flu vaccine during last year’s flu season may need a second vaccine 28 days after receiving the first vaccine dose. Please check with your primary healthcare provider if you have questions regarding dosage.
