The second annual cut-a-thon/massage and book signing fundraiser for mental health in Winona will be held in memory of Anna Mulkey on Saturday, September 29 from 2:00 6:00 p.m. at Pleasant Valley Church, 1363 Homer Rd., Winona.
Wet haircuts and massages will be provided for $10 each.
Winona author, Dorothy Ruppert, will be on hand to sell and sign her book, God Placed Her in My Path Lessons Learned from the Furnace of Bipolar Disorder. Three dollars from each book sold will be donated to NAMI-Winona. There will be extensive information on mental illnesses available. Funds raised will be used by the NAMI-Winona Affiliate to provide services, support and education for local citizens who live with mental illness and for their families.
