The Winona Senior Friendship Center is open to all individuals age 55 and over. The Senior Advocacy Program provides information and assistance to persons over age 60. If you need assistance please call 507-454-7369. Ye Olde Gift Shoppe is open Monday-Friday, 9 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. only.
Events at the Center:
Full Body Massages: September 27-28, 1:00-3:30 p.m. Appointments required. One hour - $40, 1/2 hour - $25, 15 minute chair - $14.50.
Knitting Without Needles: (Loom knitting) September 24, 1:30-3:00 p.m. Bring your own round knitting loom, 2 skeins of 4 ply yarn or 1 skein of bulky yarn. Call or stop in to register.
Senior Portraits: September 24, 1-4 p.m. Call or stop in to make an appointment.
Medicare Plans and Changes for 2013: October 1, 11 a.m. Marsha Yancy will outline the current and upcoming changes to Medicare plans for 2013. This will include the new timelines for enrollment in prescription drug and Medicare Advantage plans.
