Make sure you make it a point to come on over to the cutest little town this side of the Mississippi River. With over 3,000 decorated pumpkins ranging from Papa Smurf to a giant centipede, see why one passerby exclaimed, “you don’t know where to look, everything is just so wonderful.” And so it is, from the town center to the front of every shop it seems the festive spirit has been quite contagious. Every weekend starting September 14-28 there will be enough festivities for both kids and adults alike to participate in. From live bands, to face painting, to a hay maze for the kids, you will go home tired and satisfied.
With the leaves turning and Old Man Winter blowing the cold a little closer to home, now is the time to take those last walks, last bike rides, and the last licks of ice cream, and no place is better to enjoy the last little bit of summer than in Wabasha.
