Hiawatha Valley Marines
The Winona Area Hiawatha Valley Marines begins the 2012 Winona Area Toys for Tots Drive. This Marine and Navy Corpsmen veterans effort is totally focused on providing needy kids in the Winona area with a gift they can play with in their free time.
In 2011, the Hiawatha Valley Marines effort resulted in 342 families and 1,016 kids receiving assistance. We had over 50 barrels out and received cash contributions from over 50 donors (individuals, businesses and organizations).
We encourage citizens in the Winona area to participate in our 2012 drive by sending donations to the Winona Community Foundation, 51 East 4th Street, Winona, MN 55987. The Foundation has agreed to handle all of the Hiawatha Valley Marines financial matters. Thank you.
