Facilitator of The Winona Area Apron Group.
Autumn brings warm memories of home, family and a time when Grandma would use the apron to bring in apples that had fallen from the trees and a time when Grandma would bake and set her hot baked apple pies on the window sill to cool. With this in mind The Winona Area Apron Group will be mixing handcrafted aprons—but not exactly your Grandmother’s aprons—applewood, river birch, and sumac wooden buttons, handcrafted rugs, runners, quilted items and so much more at the Winona Polish Museum Apple Day Festival, Sunday October 7, 2012, 2nd and Liberty streets, Winona, from noon to 4 p.m. Membership information will also be available.
