ATV accident claims life of Arcadia man (10/03/2012)

On September 30, at 11:54 p.m. the Buffalo County Sheriff’s Office received a call about a missing hunter who had not returned from the woods. When officers arrived at the scene of the call they were told Gregory A. Fedie, 57, of Arcadia, Wis., had left earlier in the day to move tree stands, using a four wheel ATV, and he had not returned to his vehicle. At approximately 1:30 a.m. the search of the area found that Fedie had been involved in an ATV crash on a hillside and that he had received fatal injuries from the crash.
The crash remains under investigation by the Wisconsin DNR and the Buffalo County Sheriff’s Office.
