Donald H. Duresky, age 84, of Winona, Minn., died on Saturday, October 6, 2012, at Lake Winona Manor.
Don was born on May 27, 1928, in Winona, Minn., to Howard and Julia (Paszkiewicz) Duresky. He honorably served his country with the United States Army.
Don is survived by his son, Eugene (Kathy) Duresky of St. Paul, Minn., daughter, Barbara (Kevin) Klitzke, and their daughter Brianna Lynn Klitzke, all of Cottage Grove, Minn., sister, Mary; cousin, Irene Poblocki, Winona, Minn., as well as other close relatives and special friends, and companion Mary Duresky and her family.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Olga Duresky, and cousin, Eleanore (Joe) Loshek.
Visitation will be held at the Watkowski-Mulyck Funeral Home on Thursday, October 18, 2012, from 2 p.m. until 5 p.m., where a funeral service will be held at 5 p.m. Deacon Justin Green will officiate. Following the service, the Veterans of Foreign Wars Neville-Lien Post #1287 of Winona will provide full military honors outside the funeral home.
