Accident injures driver (10/17/2012)
On Saturday, October 13, at 3:30 p.m. the Buffalo County Sheriff’s Office received a call of a one-vehicle rollover with entrapment on CTH M about one mile from STH 35/54 in the Town of Buffalo. A vehicle driven by David Dingfelder, 58, of Fountain City, Wis., was traveling northbound when he entered the northbound ditch, climbed an embankment and overturned, striking a highway sign and causing the vehicle to land on its top in the northbound lane of traffic. Investigation revealed that alcohol and speed were factors in the crash. Dingfelder was transported to Winona Health with non-life threatening injuries.

Assisting at the scene were the Fountain City Fire Department, the Fountain City First Responders, and Winona Area Ambulance.
