Lynne Ellen Lunn (Bauer), 65, of Winona, Minn., died Thursday, October 11, 2012.
She was born to the late Donald and Natalie Bauer, Oct. 29, 1946, in Winona, Minn. Lynne graduated from Winona Senior High School in 1965 and received a post-secondary education degree from Winona Business College. She married Ron Lunn in 1969, and resided in Mankato, Minn. Upon divorcing in 1988, she relocated back to Winona to be closer to family.
Lynne worked as an account specialist for Hal Leonard and Winona Printing throughout her career. Lynne enjoyed tennis, golf and bowling as well as tending to her gardens and yard. Her love for horses led her to many years of enjoyment attending shows and being a part of the horse community. Lynne was an avid reader, enjoying everything from the local newspaper to the J.K. Rowling, Harry Potter series. Her biggest passion, later in life, was playing and spending time with her grandchildren.
Lynne is survived by two children: Christian Joy Cusey, of Mankato and Trevor Grant Lunn, of St. Paul. She also is survived by four grandchildren: Maggie, Jack, Nicolas and Nolan, of Mankato and five siblings: Donald Jr. (Sue), Chris (Lori), Michael, Wendy (Stanley “Boots”) and Nancy (Neil).
A visitation will be held at 6 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 17, at Fawcett-Junker Funeral Home in Winona. A prayer service will follow at 7 p.m.
