Olson, Kaehler (10/17/2012)
From: Darrell Downs
Our local governments have a full plate. Dealing with $2.4 billion in debt handed down from the state to our local schools, and facing inevitable cuts in Local Government Aid and county health services, the last thing Winona County needs is reactionary leadership. There is no threat to our property rights under the county zoning ordinance. And it is perfectly reasonable for county leaders to examine the long term community impacts of frac sand mining—something neither sand haulers nor geologists can answer alone. I believe that Greg Olson and Mena Kaelher understand. Re-elect them to the Winona County Board.
