A dream is a portal
Into another world
One in which you see
Only with your inner eye
And feel only with your soul
Revealing inner most secrets
And deepest desires
Unveiling our true emotions
Without fear of judgment
Loved ones long since past
Walk beside us
For dreams know nothing of mortality
We can climb the tallest mountain
Sail upon the sea
Or even take to the skies
For dreams discern no earthly limitations
But we all must wake
Blind to the world
We hide our true self
Our true feelings
Until the day we leave this world
To dream forever
Only then, will we truly see
Truly feel
Truly be!
