Winona Dakota Unity Alliance will meet for its Annual Membership Meeting on Monday, October 29, at the Winona History Center, Wanek Hall, 2nd Floor, 160 Johnson Street, Winona. Cathedral’s Young At Heart will meet November 1, starting with 12:10 p.m. Mass for those who wish to attend. The National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) of Minnesota sponsors free support groups for families who have a relative with a mental illness. Led by trained facilitators who also have a family member with mental illness, the support groups help families develop better coping skills and find strength through sharing their experiences.
