There’s so many editorials now encouraging one candidate or another. I don’t intend to tell you how to vote, but would like to give you the following information, then hope and pray you will vote for life. If life isn’t important, than what else really matters? I will now give you some information on the presidential candidates.
Barack Obama signed into law the Obama Care - this legislation will result in unacceptable involuntary denial of lifesaving treatment through rationing (I’m so glad I had my needed heart surgery, most likely prolonged my life) when I did two years ago and that my l lb. 5 oz. granddaughter Harley was born 18 years ago. I don’t think the government should decide when or if we should be denied lifesaving medical treatment, do you?
Obama Care will expand federal funding for abortion, Planned Parenthood, etc. Obama is for promotion and funding of abortion overseas, he’s also for selective abortions - wrong sex, destroy the baby and try again. He argued against legal protection for newborn babies which survive (watch October Baby on DVD) and a ban on partial birth abortion (allow the head to be born and then kill the baby) cannot be permitted under the Constitution (these facts, though shocking, are a matter of public record).
Barack Obama will not let us, the people, have a say on abortion, the premier injustice in American society today. But we will have a say on November 6.
Mitt Romney and Paul Ryan are pro-life and in favor of keeping the 5th Commandment “thou shalt not kill.” Please consider these facts as you go to vote.
As for my vote on the Marriage Amendment, it will be yes. It seems to me to vote no is selfishly thinking about the instant gratification of two adults of the same sex without careful consideration for the children they may want to adopt. God’s plan for marriage is between a man and a woman. Children need to be raised with a father and mother. It’s about time we start doing things the right way - God’s way - or face the consequences.
