Steve’s opponent was quoted as saying, with pride, “There haven’t been any employees laid off at Winona County.” Perhaps that is true regarding layoffs, but she failed to mention employees who have resigned, retired, or been terminated due to the devastating changes at Winona county. Steve will fight for county employees.
