We are being lied to (10/31/2012)
rom: M.J. McCauley

There is one thing that voters should know about the presidential debate. I am sorry to say that the president lied about taxes. He said Governor Romney pays less taxes than those who work for a paycheck. I believe the president lied by not explaining there are two different taxes in the tax code; you decide if he lied.

The tax code for capital gains percentage income is less than taxes for working paycheck percentage income. The percent tax value for capital gains tax is less than the percent tax value for someone working in a store or factory. The reason capital gains tax is lower is because there is no guarantee you will make any money. If you buy stocks you pay capital gains tax.

The president cannot say a potato is the same as a watermelon, they are two different things. Just as percent for taxes are two different things.

In the V.P. debate the vice-president said he and the president did not know anything about the Benghazi attack. Now this is a lie. The president knew about the attack in real time and e-mail copy confirms this.

If there are lies about major events, could there be other lies? Voters - you decide and vote.

P.S. It is hard to find this information in the media (i.e. NBC, CBS, NY. Times, Washington Post, etc.), because the media reports its news to support Obama.
