Night of fright (10/31/2012)

Photo by Emily Buss       At the Theisen house on Lakeview Avenue, holiday decorations are taken seriously. In preparation for this evening's night of fright, Bill and Shelly Theisen have set up a frightful barbecue on their front lawn. "We started putting this together in September," Shelly said. "We're known in the neighborhood for getting a little crazy with decorations." A skeleton grill master perches over a hollowed-out grill equipped with a fog machine bellowing faux smoke. Several monsters sit around a dinner table, toasting each other's scaring accomplishments. And just added, the headless horseman on an upgraded modern four-wheeler.
