The two incumbent county commissioners talk of all their achievements in streamlining county government and their concerns over environmental issues.
One of the commissioners works for the city of Winona, which one could call being a double dipper.
The other’s claim to fame is the new zoning ordinance. After all of the controversy, and all of the dollars spent on this document, it’s a pity that basic soil erosion and storm water rules are not enforced.
We need county commissioners with the backbone to hold the self directed bureaucrats in Winona County government responsible for their actions.
