The Bill of Rights guarantees the right to practice religion. It is unconscionable that our government would ask citizens to act against religion and religious institutions. Christian religions consider marriage a sacrament - a unique bond between a man and a woman. Webster defines marriage as a compact between a man and a woman to live together as a husband and wife.
Vote yes for the Marriage Amendment. Civil agreements or contracts between members of the same sex are another matter. They allow recognition by health organizations and insurance companies.
Remember to vote yes for the Marriage Amendment.
