Musical Extravaganza at Old Main Nov. 10 (11/08/2012)
November 10 at 7:00 p.m. at Old Main in Galesville, located at the south end of S. 12th St.

Headliners for the 2012 “Musical Extravaganza” at Old Main in Galesville will be Eddie Allen, songwriter and storyteller; The Reimer Revolution, contemporary music; David Riley, humorist, and Ron Reimer on the accordion. Pianists and other musicians will perform popular, classical, and gospel selections. The “Extravaganza” will start at 7:00 p.m., and refreshments will be offered at intermission. Admission is $5.00 for adults and $3.00 for people in high school and younger. Additional donations are welcome.

Old Main’s “Musical Extravaganza” is an annual fund raiser to help pay the basic operational costs of Old Main, which continue to increase with more active use of the building. Brad Simonson is working with the Old Main Board on a plan for an elevator to the auditorium. Presently the board is working to present more events that will bring more active interest to this historic building and its fine space for offering shows. “Piano Keys” on a plaque are still available to purchase at $100.00 each to invest in sound equipment. Old Main is located off Ridge Ave. at the south end of 12th St. in Galesville. Turn right onto College Ave. for parking space.
