Can anyone miraculously wish God out of existence by wishful or imaginative thinking? Jude 4 Revelation 1:18 Anyone’s wildest imagination can give it a try, but God is never going to become a non-entity. Now that some have convinced themselves that God does not exist, where are these disillusioned, God-wearied, God-denying folks going to be residing after their last breath has been taken? Psalm 9:17
Why is there so much hatred towards those who love God? II Timothy 3:12 Is God the leader of any cult or pagan religion? Preposterous! Is God requiring His followers to deceive and to do wicked things to others? Absolutely not! Such hatred of Biblical Christians is quite puzzling. Matthew 10:22
Whether I believe it or not, everyone is going to have to stand before God on Judgment Day. Psalm 53:1a Having convinced myself that God does not exist, doesn’t mean that I will not have to stand before God and that I will not have to give an account of my life to God. Romans 14:10-12 Believing in an invention of my imagination (that God does not exist) will assure me of eternal torment in a most horrible place. II Peter 2:4
People lived to be several hundred years old (Methuselah lived 969 years) before the flood, so there was more than ample time for the procreation of a great multitude of people. What Cain did to his brother Abel, could have been known by a great number of people.
Michele Bachmann and Paul Ryan probably know Scripture quite well, so they may rightly respond to any intentional innuendo against them with joyful hearts. In the end, no amount of wishful or imaginative thinking is going to make God disappear.
