Monday, Nov.5

At 12:12 p.m. deputies ticketed Brian Dale Kieffer, 29, of Dover, for trespassing after he was caught hunting on marked property on County Road 119 near St. Charles. According to the report, the complainant said Kieffer and several hunters were hunting on his property. Kieffer said the group was just crossing through his property to get to another hunting area. The complainant said a neighbor reported seeing the same hunters hunting on his land and called the law enforcement center.

Friday, Nov. 9

At 12:31 a.m. deputies ticketed Paul Anthony Clark, 22, of Winona, for obstructing the legal process, posession of drug paraphernalia and fleeing officers on foot after a Tazer was used on Clark and he was taken into custody in the Walz parking lot. According to the report, deputies assisted the Winona Police Department set up a perimeter for a suspect that had fled police earlier. A deputy saw a man with a matching description stumble down the street and fall near Huff Street and the Interstate bridge. The deputy pursued the suspect, identified as Clark. Clark fled through the Walz parking lot, falling several times. When the deputy made contact with Clark, Clark was uncooperative. The deputy used a Tazer on Clark and took him into custody. Deputies found a metal pipe commonly used to smoke marijuana in Clark’s posession. Clark was transported to Winona Health for several wounds he sustained during the chase and was susbsequently ticketed.

At 8:31 a.m. deputies arrested Nick James Link, 32, of Rochester, for violation of a domestic abuse no contact order after he was discovered at a Saratoga home that he was not allowed to be at. According to the report, a female complainant called deputies when she couldn’t get into the home and suspected Link was inside. Deputies arrived at the residence and Link came to the door. Link said he was at the home retrieving personal items.

At 10:38 a.m. a Winona resident living on Gilmore Ridge Drive reported missing a gas powered trimmer. The man said the trimmer was near a tree stand in the yard several days ago and when he returned on the evening of the November 9, he discovered the trimmer missing. Estimated value of the stolen property is $200.

At 11:39 a.m. deputies ticketed Brent Joseph Hall, 20, of Winona, Taylor Kay Steffen, 19, of Winona, and Holly Ann Parpart, 18, of Winona, for underage consumption of alcohol after the vehicle they were in was pulled over on County Road 12 near East Burns Valley Road.

Saturday, Nov.10

At 4:46 p.m. police ticketed a 14-year-old Arcadia male for theft after he allegedly stole a hat and trading cards from Shopko in Winona. Cost of the stolen merchandise was $33.98.

Monday, Nov. 12

At 3:51 p.m. police ticketed Ashley Marie Kruse, 22, of Goodview, for shoplifting after she allegedly stole several items of women’s clothing from Shopko in Winona. Cost of the stolen merchandise was $259.92.
