Tuesday, Nov. 13

At 8:50 a.m. Winona County Sheriffs deputies responded to an accident on County Highway 25, one mile north of County Highway 248. According to the report, Bibie Ann Pearson, 86, of Alma, Wis., was northbound on County Highway 25 when she crossed into the wrong lane of traffic and went into a ditch. Pearsonís vehicle then went up an embankment, through a farm field, down another embankment, over a private driveway and slammed into a tree. Pearson said she didnít remember any part of the incident and was transported to Winona Health via Rollingstone Ambulance with non-life-threatening injuries.

Wednesday, Nov. 14

At 7:28 a.m. a Rollingstone resident reported missing a Napa tool box containing several tools from the bed of his truck. The man said his truck was parked on Main Street and the theft happened sometime between 4 and 6:30 p.m. the previous evening. Estimated cost of the stolen property is $1,000.

Thursday, Nov.8

At 11 a.m. police ticketed a 14-year-old Winona Middle School male with underage possession of tobacco after school officials found a pack of cigarettes in his backpack.

Tuesday, Nov. 13

At 1 p.m. police ticketed Gusta Garvin Blom, 35, of Winona, for obstructing the legal process after Blom became uncooperative with police during a welfare check. According to the report, police were sent to the 1400 block of Conrad Drive to check on a man suspected of overdosing. Blom became uncooperative with police when they tried to make contact with him and police were forced to use a Tazer on Blom. Blom was then transported to Winona Health for evaluation.

At 3:14 p.m. police ticketed Christopher Warren Conlon, 23, of Winona, for two separate gas drive-off incidents at Kwik Trip on the corner of Huff and Sarnia streets. Conlon stole $49.14 worth of gas from the gas station.

Thursday, Nov.15

At 2:58 a.m. police ticketed Travis Dean Boettcher, 22, of Winona, for loud party and gathering after police were sent to the area of Broadway and Lafayette streets on a noise complaint. According to the report, police could hear loud music coming from a home in the 200 block of Lafayette Street and made contact with Boettcher, who was standing on the front porch with an unidentified male and female.
