The Winona Police Department is investigating an early Friday morning accident that sent one Winona resident to the hospital with undetermined injuries.
According to police officials, Norm and Clare Sobiesk were in a crosswalk at the intersection of Eleventh and Main streets just before 7:45 a.m. Friday, when a vehicle struck them.
The report said Norm sustained non-life-threatening injuries, but Clare was transported via ambulance to an area hospital.
No other details were available at the time this issue went to press.
