From: Little Lyndin Enright and Bonnie Oldham
I have been blessed to have three beautiful granddaughters and they are such a joy.
Lyndin Anna Lee just turned one, and a few weeks ago she and her mom came up to spend the day with me while my son, her husband and Lyndin’s dad, went out bow hunting.
I decided to treat them to a good supper at Ginny’s in Rollingstone. Just out of the blue I pointed my finger at Lyndin and told her to give grandma some loves. Well, she pointed her finger, touched mine and smiled. She had just given me lots of love back. So this is her and my special way to give our loves to each other.
I called my daughter-in-law this past Sunday evening. She was giving Lyndin a bath. I told her to tell Lyndin grandma was sending her loves. Carrie said Lyndin looked up, pointed her finger, smiled and giggled, for she just gave me loves back.
This “Little Angel” knows that sending love to someone makes their heart full of joy. This Thanksgiving Lyndin and I want to send our love to all those who hurt from Hurricane Sandy. Those who are homeless, those in Haiti and New Orleans, and all who have gone through floods, disasters and loss of loved ones. Usually I have a poem to my dad who is in heaven—Milton Ellinghuysen. So dad, from me and your great-granddaughter we send all our love.
Happy Thanksgiving to everyone and don’t forget to send your loves to someone.
